Another women’s casual piece added to the winter jacket collection this season would be this hooded bat-wing sleeves jacket. At 20% off from Country Road stores, I could not resist.
I’ve always enjoyed styling with loose fitting jackets, be it ponchos, over-sized knits, cardigans, the bigger the sleeves, the better. I quite enjoy window-shopping in the men’s jacket section at times, secretly wishing I could fit into one of their better pieces!
In-case you have looked at my previous post, you will recognise that I have worn the same shirt, pants and boots in this outfit. I did the two-birds-one-stone thing by taking it on the same day (though, there’s nothing wrong with wearing your weekend outfit on a Monday given that it’s not drenched in suspicious stains and if you didn’t have to dress a particular way). I styled it with my basic Uniqlo shirt, Witchery pants and Bardot hat, though you might want to style it with fitted trackies/jogger pants for a more casual sporty street feel (Check out the look on Country Road’s website I’ve just described on the item link at the end of this post)
Overall, this jacket is light, semi wind-proof and has a nicely flat-lay hoody that won’t flop around at the back. Perfect for those days where you can’t decide if you’re going to be hot or cold but at the same time, you don’t want to wear too much or be without something to wrap yourself in.
