Little Chloe Cafe has always been one of my favourite go-to local brunch places, especially after a night out when I don’t feel like travelling far. Located on Malvern Road, this cafe is situated amongst a strip of shops, with plenty of natural sunlight by my favourite window seatings topped with a good mix of food options inside.
My recent visit to Little Chloe was just last week, unfortunately only a few items were available that day due to a glitch in their kitchen. Nevertheless, our meals didn’t disappoint. Pictured below are what were ordered last:
- Poached hollandaise eggs on toasts
- Tasmanian smoked salmon on toast (usually on potato rosti) with mango and green tea chutney, smashed avo and Persian feta, pomegranate and a poached egg
- Iced coffee (this was amazing)
Moving away from their usual breakfast/brunch menu, Little Chloe has a variety of lunch options available to choose from such as open steak sandwich, nasi goreng and pulled pork on rice dishes. Aside from keeping it real to their main signature dishes such as their Tasmanian smoked salmon on potato rosti, Little Chloe embraces the Melbourne culture by offering a seasonal changing menu ’cause we all know that Melbournians are picky eaters and are utterly spoiled with our never-ending food choices! :)
Overall I recommend you visit this cute little cafe during your next visit down South-East, the staff are friendly and attentive and the food tastes great. Try get a window seating if you’re going to take photos of your food though. Remember to order their signature dish or salmon else will :P
